Balmore Atlantic “BA”:
A spin-off of Afex Suns S.A.
Afex Suns (previously Afex Electronics) is a family enterprise with four decade experience in consumer electronics distribution. At the beginning of the 80's Afex Electronics introduced AIWA products in Spain as the exclusive distributor.
SUNSTECH
In 2003 we launched the Sunstech brand, a leader of consumer electronics in Spain. It sells products such as TVs, tablets and portable audio to major Spanish retailers including MediaMarkt, El Corte Inglés, Carrefour and Fnac amongst others. Sunstech totals up to 34 million euros in annual billing and 1 million units sold per year.
BALMORE ATLANTIC
Balmore Atlantic started operations in 2017 and today has 17 Xiaomi Stores in prime locations throughout Spain and Portugal. In 2020 and 2021, despite the Covid crisis, BA expanded its store presence to Canary Islands, Asturias and Portugal. The road map for the future is to continue opening stores based on a strong and sustainable partnership with Xiaomi.

BA has been the first Xiaomi partner for the opening and management of Xiaomi Stores in West Europe. La Vaguada was the first Xiaomi store to open in Madrid in November 2017 and Gran Via 2 the first store to open in Barcelona in February 2018.

Our aim is to find the best locations, to build the best stores, plan innovative 360 marketing strategies and train our staff in the best technical and sales strategies.
